I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Special Education Endorsement and a Master of Science with an emphasis in Special Education. After a 36-year career in public education—34 years in special education and six years as a Special Education Director—I now teach Special Education endorsement courses at Bushnell University.
Throughout my career, I worked with students in general education, special education, and Talented and Gifted programs, often supporting students with diverse and dual learning needs. I also served on administrative oversight teams across three school districts, contributing to program development and leadership.
In addition to my work in education, I spent 24 years leading Children’s Ministries at River Road Baptist Church, teaching and directing programs such as Sunday school, children’s church, Vacation Bible School, and Triangle Lake Day Camp.
I love the Lord deeply and am passionate about helping children grow in understanding the transforming and sustaining love of Jesus Christ.
